Located in Kiyota Ward, Sapporo, Kiyota no Mori Dental Clinic is a community-based dental clinic that opened in March 2020. Director Koichi Sakamoto, a graduate of Osaka University School of Dentistry, opened this clinic after completing advanced studies at Hokkaido University Graduate School and gaining extensive clinical experience at multiple dental clinics in the city. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments including cavity and periodontal disease treatment, preventive care and maintenance, pediatric dentistry, root canal treatment, dentures, and oral surgery. They also actively provide home dental care services for patients who have difficulty visiting the clinic (within a 16km radius). With a focus on prevention, the clinic adopts a system where each patient is assigned a dedicated dental hygienist to provide personalized continuous maintenance. At the initial examination, sufficient time is allocated for counseling to explain specific treatment plans including costs and treatment duration. In terms of infection prevention, the clinic has introduced world-class "Class B" sterilizers, and all instruments are sterilized and replaced for each patient. The clinic is equipped with a kids' space and diaper changing station, making it a welcoming environment for parents with children. English services are available, and parking is provided.
