Located on the 12th floor of Big Sapporo North Sky Building in Kita-ku, Sapporo, Sapporo Parkinson & MS Neurology Clinic is a medical clinic specializing in neurology and rehabilitation. The clinic treats a wide range of neurological conditions including neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, spinocerebellar degeneration, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), as well as immune-mediated neurological disorders like multiple sclerosis (MS), peripheral neuropathies including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and muscular dystrophy. Notably, the clinic features rehabilitation using the medical HAL® (Hybrid Assistive Limb®), which has been available since the clinic's opening. HAL® is a wearable robotic device jointly developed by the University of Tsukuba and CYBERDYNE Inc., recognized by WIPO as a Notable Invention. Many patients report experiencing significant benefits, and this approach is known as an advanced initiative in neurological rehabilitation. The clinic offers consultations in English and accepts cashless payments including credit cards and electronic payment methods.
