Located in the Kikusui area of Shiroishi Ward, Sapporo, Kikusui Internal Medicine and Cardiology Clinic is a community-based medical practice specializing in internal medicine, cardiology, and gastroenterology, with home visit services available. The director graduated from Sapporo Medical University, obtained a medical doctorate, gained research experience at the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Alberta in Canada, and has accumulated extensive clinical experience in cardiology at multiple medical institutions including Hakodate Goryokaku Hospital and JR Sapporo Hospital. Holding qualifications as a certified internist by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and a board-certified cardiologist by the Japanese Circulation Society, the clinic opened in June 2015. The clinic is equipped to professionally handle a wide range of internal medicine conditions from cardiovascular diseases to gastrointestinal symptoms, and also provides home visit services for patients who have difficulty visiting, contributing to the local home medical care needs. The facility adopts a barrier-free design, ensuring an environment where elderly people and those with physical disabilities can use it with confidence. Parking is also available, making access by car convenient. The ability to communicate in English is one of the clinic's features, providing a system that makes it easy for those who find communication in Japanese difficult to receive treatment. The clinic is closed on Sundays, the 3rd Saturday of each month, public holidays, and year-end/new year period (December 29 to January 3).
