Located within the Inaho Medical Core in Teine-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Kikuchi Internal Medicine & Respiratory Medicine specializes in internal medicine and respiratory care. The clinic has introduced BioMerieux's "BioFire SpotFire R Panel" for diagnosing fever and pneumonia. This system can identify 15 types of pathogens including COVID-19, influenza, RSV, and mycoplasma within approximately 20 minutes using PCR testing with nasopharyngeal swabs. The test is covered by insurance and is offered to patients with persistent fever or those at high risk of severe illness. The clinic actively provides vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccines (until the end of March 2026) and shingles vaccines (eligible for Sapporo City subsidy), accepting walk-ins without appointments. Please note that telephone reservation is required for fever clinic visits. English-speaking staff is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Parking and barrier-free facilities are also provided.
