Ai Naika Clinic, operated by the medical corporation Aiwaka-kai, is a medical facility located in Fukuzumi, Toyohira Ward, Sapporo City, specializing in internal medicine, respiratory medicine, and allergy. Since its establishment in 1995, the clinic has been contributing to community healthcare. In 2002, it relocated to its current facility in Fukuzumi 3-jo and continues to provide medical services as a barrier-free facility with parking. The director is a graduate of Sapporo Medical University and provides specialized care in respiratory and allergy fields. Since 2015, the clinic has received physician support from the Department of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology at Sapporo Medical University, strengthening its Saturday outpatient services. In 2018, an experienced respiratory specialist joined the clinic, and in January of the same year, a cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPX) system, which was still relatively rare in the respiratory field at the time, was installed. This equipment is utilized for respiratory rehabilitation in COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and treatment of exercise-induced asthma (athlete's asthma), enabling highly specialized respiratory care. The clinic offers services in English and operates morning sessions from Monday to Saturday, with afternoon sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, providing flexible appointment times for patients.
