Ima Clinic, a medical corporation located in Kita-ku, Sapporo, is a clinic with beds specializing in internal medicine and gastroenterology, with a history of approximately 60 years since its establishment in 1965. Dr. Masato Ima, the director, received the 2025 Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Commendation for Contribution to Emergency Medical Care, and has been recognized by the government for his long-standing contribution to local emergency medical care. Outpatient care is provided by a team of two doctors, the director and the vice director, with a mini-lab installed in the facility. In addition to X-rays and blood tests, they offer specialized examinations such as upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound, enabling complete diagnosis of digestive system diseases within the same facility. Various vaccinations, including influenza and pneumococcal, are available. Since 2025, intranasal influenza vaccine Flumist (for those 18 years and under) has also been offered. Patients with fever or cold symptoms are accepted regardless of their prior visit history, and efforts are made to reduce waiting time through the i-Ticket system for same-day queuing. With a 19-bed inpatient ward, the clinic works in cooperation with the care support center and serviced elderly housing "Rui-no-Sato" to provide integrated medical and nursing care for the community. Barrier-free facilities and dedicated parking are available, and English language support is provided.
