Located near Odori Park in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, on the west side of the Sapporo Shiryokan, Kamijo Thyroid Clinic was established in February 1994 as Hokkaido's first medical clinic specializing in thyroid diseases. Certified as a specialist facility by the Japan Thyroid Association, the clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Graves' disease, Hashimoto's disease, and subacute thyroiditis, as well as thyroid management for pregnant women. The director is a thyroid specialist who received a Special Merit Award from the Japan Thyroid Association and has long served as a central figure in thyroid disease care in Hokkaido. A distinctive feature of the clinic is its speed from examination to result explanation, with medical equipment that provides test results in approximately 60 minutes, accommodating patients traveling from distant locations. Treatment is by appointment only, and English support is available. Currently, mask-wearing is mandatory as an infection prevention measure, and patients without masks cannot be seen, so please take note. The multi-story parking garage at the Odori Maruichi Building is currently out of order and unavailable.
