Kita Orthopedic Clinic, located in Buzendacho, Shimonoseki City, has been providing community-based orthopedic care since its establishment in 1949. The clinic offers treatment by an orthopedic specialist specializing in rheumatoid arthritis, and treats conditions including rheumatoid arthritis with biological agents, drug therapy for gout, osteoarthritis, spinal osteoarthritis, cervical and lumbar spine abnormalities, shoulder and knee pain, neuralgia, spinal stenosis, and osteoporosis. In addition to physical therapy and medication, treatment incorporating preventive exercise therapy is provided, and day surgery is possible for certain cases. The clinic maintains close cooperation with Shimonoseki City Central Hospital and can consult with internal medicine and surgery doctors beyond orthopedics, allowing for treatment of boundary conditions. The clinic offers outpatient care only, with consultations from Monday to Saturday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
