Shimada Clinic is located in Takabatake, Nyuzen Town, Shimoniikawa District, Toyama Prefecture, and is an internal medicine clinic established in 1959. The sick child care room "Kodomo Day Care Danka," opened in May 2006, provides care for sick children who cannot attend daycare. In April 2024, the clinic was renovated and reopened with enhanced infection control measures by equipping all rooms with negative pressure ventilation. The clinic offers English-speaking services and is equipped with parking and barrier-free facilities. The clinic is closed on Wednesday afternoons for infant vaccinations and health checkups, and is also closed on Thursday afternoons from 14:00 and on the third Friday of each month until 15:00. Since January 2023, afternoon consultation hours have been reduced, with reception closing at 17:30. The clinic issues medical fee statements free of charge and claims lifestyle disease management fee II, outpatient infection control improvement fee, medical information acquisition fee, and generic drug usage system fee. The clinic is closed on Sundays, holidays, Golden Week (May 3-5), Obon (August 13-15), and year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 - January 3).
