Suda Clinic is a medical facility located in Nima-cho, Oda City, Shimane Prefecture, a 5-minute walk from Niima Station on the San'in Main Line, offering internal medicine, psychosomatic medicine, and pediatrics. Operating under the philosophy of "supporting the vitality of the community," the clinic emphasizes treatment that harnesses the body's homeostatic functions, practicing medicine that activates the human body's innate healing power rather than simply suppressing symptoms such as fever, cough, and diarrhea. Director Dr. Michio Suda graduated from Shimane Medical University, earned a doctorate in medicine through research on endocrinology and bone metabolism at Kyoto University Graduate School, and holds numerous qualifications including Specialist in General Internal Medicine, Japan Endocrine Society Specialist, Japan Primary Care Association Certified Physician and Instructor, and Certified Public Psychologist. With experience in psychosomatic medicine, the clinic is distinguished by its mind-body approach to treating medically unexplained symptoms and recurrent conditions using transactional analysis theory. Clinic hours are 9:00–12:00 in the morning, 14:00–15:00 and 16:30–18:00 in the afternoon, with Thursday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays closed. Home visits are also available Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 15:00 to 16:30. A total of 20 parking spaces are available in two locations — in front of the clinic and at the back of the premises — and the facility is barrier-free, making it accessible to patients of all ages. English-language consultations are available, and the clinic also supports multilingual communication using translation apps.
