Located in Kasuya Town, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture, Katai Orthopedic & Internal Medicine Hospital has been contributing to regional healthcare as an orthopedic specialty hospital since its establishment in 1980. The hospital provides treatment centered on surgery, with an annual record of approximately 400 surgical procedures. Initially, hand surgery and trauma surgery were the main focus. Currently, in collaboration with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Kyushu University Faculty of Medicine, the hospital actively performs arthroscopic surgery on hip and knee joints, as well as joint replacement surgery. To enable post-operative patients and those receiving conservative treatment to return to society early, efforts are made to enhance the physical therapy department. Operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday service limited to the morning only. The hospital is closed on Sundays, holidays, and specific days during year-end/New Year period and summer. Parking is available, and English-language services are offered. Masks are required inside the hospital for infection prevention.
