Kanokoo Orthopedic Clinic is a community-based clinic located in Gojo, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, operated by the medical corporation Kensei-kai. The clinic primarily specializes in orthopedics and also provides internal medicine, rheumatology, and rehabilitation services, covering a broad range of conditions from bone and joint disorders to musculoskeletal and nerve pain, rheumatic diseases, and chronic internal medical conditions. In November 2024, Dr. Takashi Komatsu was officially appointed as the new clinic director, drawing on his extensive experience as deputy director to support the health of local residents. The clinic features an in-house rehabilitation room where physicians and specialist staff collaborate to assist patients in their functional recovery. With on-site parking facilities and a nearby secondary parking lot, as well as barrier-free accessibility, the clinic provides a welcoming environment for elderly patients and those with physical disabilities. English-language support is available, making it easy for patients whose primary language is not Japanese to seek medical care. Starting in January 2026, a shuttle service to surrounding areas has been introduced, operating on two routes—the Aoyama/Umekaen route and the Ishizaka–Mikasadai Danchi route—to support patients who have difficulty arranging their own transportation. The clinic is closed on Sundays, public holidays, as well as during the year-end/New Year period and the Obon holiday season.
