Located in Kubancho, Wakayama City, Akioka Dermatology Clinic is a dermatology specialty clinic founded in 2006 by Dr. Yoshimi Akioka, a board-certified dermatologist by the Japanese Dermatological Association. After graduating from Wakayama Medical University in 1987, Dr. Akioka gained extensive experience in dermatology through training and work at the university hospital, later serving as the chief of dermatology at Naga Public Hospital. The clinic's hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, closed on Sundays, holidays, and during New Year's and Obon periods. English-speaking support is available, making it accessible for patients who need communication in languages other than Japanese. The facility is located on the first floor of Laums Wakayama Kubancho, and while there is no dedicated parking, patients can use the Wakayama City Central Parking or North Parking Lot next to the City Hall, with up to one hour free and parking validation available at the clinic reception. Now in its 19th year, the clinic continues to pursue better care with the philosophy of "renewing day by day."
