Yamamoto Dental
About
Yamamoto Dental Clinic is located in Kusasa, Wakayama City, and opened in the Sando district of Wakayama City in September 2022. Director Dr. Soji Yamamoto graduated from the Hiroshima University School of Dentistry and earned his doctorate specializing in periodontology at Okayama University Graduate School. The clinic places particular emphasis on the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. Based on the understanding that periodontal disease can affect systemic conditions such as diabetes and arteriosclerosis, the clinic upholds a policy of treating from the foundation of the teeth, aiming to provide dental care tailored to each life stage, from minus one year old (pregnancy) through to the elderly. In terms of equipment, the clinic is equipped with dental CT and intraoral cameras for precise diagnosis, along with a continuous ventilation system using a total heat exchanger, thorough instrument sterilization via an autoclave, and the use of extraoral vacuums, reflecting a strong commitment to hygiene management. Another hallmark of the clinic is its thorough approach to informed consent, ensuring ample time for pre-treatment consultations and providing careful explanations using photographs and models. The facility is barrier-free, and semi-private treatment rooms ensure patient privacy. The clinic offers a parking lot with 10 spaces and is conveniently located approximately a 5-minute walk from Itakiso Station. Saturday appointments and online booking are available, English-language support is provided, and a variety of payment methods including credit cards and electronic payments are accepted.
