Nanki-no-Daichi Clinic is an internal medicine clinic located on a hilltop in Kamitonda-cho, Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture, operated by the medical corporation Takuma-kai. The clinic was newly built and relocated from Nanki Shinjo Clinic in September 2021. Its elevated hilltop location was chosen for enhanced safety against disaster risks such as earthquakes and tsunamis, and the facility is equipped with its own power generation system, enabling continued medical operations even during power outages. The clinic places particular emphasis on hemodialysis treatment, with a dialysis ward featuring 40 beds staffed by experienced medical professionals. Evening dialysis sessions are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing a convenient option for patients who find daytime visits difficult. Free Wi-Fi is available in the dialysis ward for patient comfort, and a transportation service for dialysis patients is also provided. General internal medicine consultations are held from 9:00 AM to noon, with the clinic closed on Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year periods, and the Obon season. The facility offers a parking lot and is fully barrier-free, ensuring accessibility for wheelchair users and those with mobility concerns. English-language consultations are also available, making the clinic welcoming to a broad range of patients.
