Kiyama Dental Clinic, located in Ryosanyanagi, Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, has been providing dental care since its establishment in 2001. The clinic director graduated from Osaka Dental University and gained experience through a position in the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Tottori University, as well as clinical practice on remote islands and in rural areas, before opening the clinic. The director is also known as the first certified sports dentist by the Japan Sports Association in Tottori Prefecture. For local anesthesia, a topical anesthetic is applied first, followed by the slow injection of anesthetic solution through an ultra-fine needle to minimize discomfort. In terms of equipment, the clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art devices including a digital dental X-ray system that delivers less than one-tenth the radiation of conventional units, an ultrasonic scaler, and the "POLUS" whitening light manufactured by Beyond of the United States. An on-site dental technician is available to promptly handle consultations about prosthetics and denture repairs. The clinic operates on a fully appointment-based system to minimize waiting times and ensure sufficient treatment time for each patient. The entire facility, from the entrance to the treatment rooms, is fully wheelchair accessible, and accessible restrooms are also available. Additionally, a nurse is on staff and a free childcare service is provided for infants and children up to school age, allowing patients with young children to visit with peace of mind. English-language assistance is available, credit card and electronic payment methods are accepted, and ample parking is provided.
