Kamasawa Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, located in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, is a long-established clinic that has served the local community in obstetrics and gynecology for over half a century since its founding in 1973. Director Dr. Shunji Kamasawa holds the titles of Doctor of Medicine, specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, and designated physician under the Maternal Protection Act. In 2004, the clinic relocated to a newly constructed building on the same premises, with all clinical areas including the inpatient ward designed as a single-story structure to minimize the physical burden on expectant mothers. The building is also notable for its earthquake-resistant construction. Consultations are available from 9:00 to 12:30 in the morning and from 15:00 to 18:00 in the afternoon, with the clinic closed on Thursday and Saturday afternoons, as well as Sundays and public holidays. In addition to obstetric and gynecological care, the clinic also offers various vaccinations. Postpartum care is a priority, with aromatherapy treatments using carefully selected natural essential oils provided to support physical recovery after childbirth. The clinic also offers warm and thoughtful services such as gifting a picture book to every newborn and serving a celebratory meal prepared by a nutritionist using seasonal ingredients.
