Shimane University Matsue Health Management Center is a clinic located in Nishikawatsu-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, established to maintain and promote the health of Shimane University members. The center offers internal medicine services, covering both general medical care and mental health counseling. In accordance with the School Health and Safety Act, the center conducts annual health examinations for all students from April through May and again in September, including chest X-ray screenings. Official health examination certificates can be issued following these check-ups. In addition to primary care and first aid, the center plays a supportive role in connecting patients with appropriate medical resources by providing referral letters to specialists or other medical facilities as needed. The center also handles prescriptions for certain medications and accepts consultations regarding both physical and mental health concerns. Clinic hours are weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00; the center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and the Obon period.
