Mihara Clinic, located in Imaicho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, originally served the community as an obstetrics and gynecology clinic before leveraging that experience to relaunch as a medical practice centered on internal medicine and gastroenterology. In addition to general internal medicine consultations, the clinic accepts appointments for transnasal endoscopy (gastroscopy via the nose) and abdominal ultrasound examinations at any time, and also offers cancer screenings covering a wide range of areas including the stomach, colon, liver, lungs, breast, and prostate. Services also include Helicobacter pylori testing and eradication therapy, hepatitis B and C testing, general health checkups, comprehensive medical examinations, specific health checkups, and smoking cessation consultations—all covered by health insurance—providing broad coverage from preventive medicine to disease management. One of the clinic's notable features is its extensive women's healthcare menu, encompassing prenatal checkups, menopausal disorders, dysmenorrhea, adolescent consultations, infertility treatments (including artificial insemination and semen analysis), and Kampo (traditional herbal medicine) therapy. Home visit medical care is also available, and same-day outpatient surgery can be performed. The clinic offers consultations in English and is equipped with barrier-free facilities, also accepting My Number Card. Hours are 8:30–12:00 in the morning and 15:00–18:30 in the afternoon (with closing time changing to 18:00 from April 2026 onward), and the clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
