Ohara Plastic Surgery Hospital, part of the Kiharaikai Medical Corporation, has been operating since April 2009 in the Kamiaoki area of Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, providing orthopedic and plastic surgery services. The orthopedic department offers treatments for back pain and knee pain common in middle-aged and elderly patients, including trigger point injections, intra-articular hyaluronic acid injections, heat therapy, low-frequency and interference wave therapy, and traction. Recently, muscle release injections for neck stiffness and back pain have also been introduced, and manual therapy to prevent disuse contractures is performed for fractures and ligament injuries. The plastic surgery department is equipped to handle excision surgeries for trauma, moles, and other benign tumors, as well as blepharoplasty. Clinic Director Akitoshi Ohara, MD, PhD, graduated from Showa University and has experience at multiple medical institutions including Toranomon Hospital, and is a member of the Japanese Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand. The clinic offers English services, has parking, and is barrier-free, dedicated to treating local residents while serving as a liaison with general hospitals.
