Located in Minami-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, Kinki University Hospital opened in 1975 as the only university hospital in the southern Osaka area. It is a large-scale medical facility with 800 beds and 35 clinical departments. Designated as a Specific Function Hospital, it holds numerous designations including Regional Cancer Care Collaboration Base Hospital, Liver Disease Care Collaboration Base Hospital, Disaster Base Hospital, and Regional Perinatal and Maternal Medical Center.
