Iwanaga Children's Clinic is a pediatric specialty clinic located in Kaku Minami, Oita City, Oita Prefecture. Dr. Tomohisa Iwanaga, the clinic director, graduated from Kyushu University School of Medicine and has extensive clinical experience in pediatric emergency and neonatal care, having served as a researcher in the Department of Pediatrics at Kurume University and as a senior physician in the Neonatology Department at St. Mary's Hospital. Based on this wealth of experience, he holds certifications from the Japan Pediatric Society, the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Japanese Society of Human Genetics as a Clinical Genetics Supervisor. Clinic hours are from 9 AM to 12 PM Monday through Saturday, and from 3 PM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, with weekday afternoons from 3 PM reserved for infant health checkups and vaccinations. The facility features a special waiting room for infection control, a nursing area, an IV area, and a play area, along with ultrasound, X-ray equipment, and an otoscope endoscope. A full-time medical nursery staff member supports the clinic's operations. Parking is available, the facility is barrier-free, and English support is provided. The clinic is closed on Sundays, holidays, and August 13-15. As a family pediatrician, the clinic provides care to support children's healthy growth.
