Kanada Dental Clinic, located in Kakogihara, Oita City, Oita Prefecture, is a dental clinic that opened in August 2023. Dr. Kenro Kanada, the clinic director, earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the Graduate School of Dentistry at Health Sciences University of Hokkaido. After gaining experience as a clinical assistant at a university hospital, vice-director at a general dental clinic, and part-time physician at a hospital, he opened this clinic with the aim of serving as a community family dentist. The clinic provides comprehensive dental care ranging from cavity treatment to periodontal treatment, denture fabrication and adjustment, and root canal treatment. In pediatric dentistry, a careful approach is adopted, taking time to communicate with children until they naturally feel comfortable opening their mouths. The clinic also offers oral surgery services, including consultations for wisdom teeth and temporomandibular joint concerns. Advanced equipment such as dental CT scanners and laser therapy devices have been introduced to provide more precise diagnosis and treatment. For infection control, thorough sterilization of instruments is implemented, and disposable instruments are used whenever possible.
