Ioka Clinic, located in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, is a clinic with a long history of serving the local community for over 70 years since the opening of "Ioka Medical Clinic" in 1947. The clinic relocated and reopened at its current location in 2020, offering a wide range of medical services centered on internal medicine and dermatology. In internal medicine, the clinic handles everything from acute conditions such as fever and abdominal pain to lifestyle-related diseases including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. The introduction of advanced diagnostic equipment, including AI-assisted chest X-ray diagnosis and ultrasound imaging devices, enables more accurate diagnoses. The dermatology department is staffed by a female specialist who treats a broad range of skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis and acne. The clinic also actively provides home medical care and home visit services for patients who have difficulty commuting, and serves as a designated enhanced home medical care support clinic supporting home-based healthcare in the community. The facility features a barrier-free design, a children's play area, and a large parking lot accommodating more than 35 vehicles, creating an accessible and comfortable environment. English-language support is available, and in collaboration with the Ioka Medical Corporation Group, the clinic has established a medical system that caters to diverse needs.
