Located in Sakuho Town, Minamisaku District, Nagano Prefecture, Yachiho Clinic has been providing community-based healthcare since its establishment in November 1987. Dr. Yukinori Aoki, the clinic director, graduated from Sapporo Medical University and gained extensive experience in cardiology, abdominal surgery, and pathology before opening this clinic in Yachiho—an area that previously lacked a local doctor—following his work at Saku General Hospital and Chikuma Municipal Hospital. The clinic offers a wide range of services including internal medicine, gastroenterology, pediatrics, health checkups, workplace health screenings, and various vaccinations. Under the director, who holds certifications from the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, specialized outpatient procedures such as gastroscopy are also available. Since April 2023, ophthalmology services have been added, further expanding the clinic's capabilities. Health checkups and comprehensive medical examinations have been conducted since 1988, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to preventive care in the community. English-speaking support is available, making the clinic accessible to patients who require non-Japanese language assistance. Parking is provided, ensuring convenient access from surrounding areas. Clinic hours are 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with closures on Sundays, public holidays, and during the New Year and Obon periods.
