Oishi Orthopedic Surgery is a specialized orthopedic medical facility located in Showa, Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. The clinic holds multiple specialist qualifications, including a certified orthopedic surgeon by the Japanese Orthopaedic Association, as well as certifications in health sports medicine, sports medicine, spine and spinal cord medicine, occupational medicine, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In terms of treatment, the clinic handles a wide range of conditions including trauma such as fractures, dislocations, bruises, and sprains; joint pain and swelling; neck and shoulder pain and stiffness; back and lower back pain; acute lower back pain; pain and numbness in extremities; sciatica; rheumatism; osteoporosis; gout; hand and foot disorders; and work-related injuries. The clinic also specializes in sports orthopedics, providing treatments that consider the specific characteristics of injuries by sport. Physical therapy is offered to everyone from students participating in club activities to elderly patients. Custom orthoses including lumbar corsets, hallux valgus braces, and insoles for knee osteoarthritis are created for each individual patient.
