Located in Wakabacho, Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, Miura Clinic is a community-based clinic that opened in the early Showa period. It is situated approximately a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Hanamaki Station on the Tohoku Main Line, and with parking available, it provides convenient access for patients driving to appointments. The clinic specializes in Orthopedics and Dermatology, offering a wide range of services including primary orthopedic care and phototherapy (infrared light), as well as dermatological treatments such as atopic dermatitis treatment, skin biopsies, fungal examinations, cryotherapy, excision and suturing of benign tumors, and phototherapy (Excimer light). Director Dr. Yoshio Miura, a graduate of Kitasato University School of Medicine, worked at Iwate Medical University before inheriting this clinic and has supported local healthcare for over 40 years. Additionally, Dr. Shimpei Miura, a lecturer in the Department of Dermatology at Iwate Medical University, also provides medical services, maintaining a highly specialized care team.
