Takayama Orthopedic Rehabilitation Clinic is a specialized orthopedic clinic that opened in May 2023, located on the 2nd floor of Viera Akamui in Tarumi Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The clinic director, Dr. Koji Takayama, graduated from Kobe University, gained clinical experience at Kobe University Hospital, and subsequently studied at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States, where he conducted research in sports orthopedics and regenerative medicine. He holds certifications as a Japan Orthopaedic Association specialist, sports medicine physician, rheumatologist, and artificial joint certified physician, and treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions spanning sports injuries, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. The clinic is equipped with a dedicated rehabilitation room where patients can receive guidance from physical therapists on stretching and muscle strengthening exercises. Consultations are held in morning and afternoon sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, while Wednesdays and Saturdays are morning only. Online appointment booking is also available. The clinic offers English-language support and barrier-free facilities, and a nearby parking lot accommodating up to 185 vehicles ensures convenient access for patients.
