Kita Orthopedic Clinic is located on the 3rd floor of the building immediately to the right after exiting the JR Asagiri Station ticket gates. Dr. Kiyoshi Kita, the clinic director, holds multiple specialized qualifications including Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon from the Japanese Orthopaedic Association, as well as Board Certified Rheumatologist from the Japanese College of Rheumatology, Clinical Certified Physician from the Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Sports Medicine certification from the Japanese Orthopaedic Association. The clinic serves a diverse patient base including those with lower back and leg pain, neck and shoulder discomfort, injured children, and elderly patients requiring fall and fracture prevention, providing community-based care. A distinctive feature of the clinic is the implementation of mobility and walking ability assessments to prevent decline in walking and outdoor mobility and to proactively prevent falls and fractures, going beyond mere diagnosis. The clinic also emphasizes rehabilitation, offering exercise therapy by physical therapists including functional training for knees, shoulders, and feet, balance and gait training, and stair climbing exercises. Additionally, the clinic provides day rehabilitation and home visit rehabilitation services for patients with nursing care certification.
