Located in Hanakawa Kita, Ishikari City, Hokkaido, Ishikari Kids Dental Place opened in 2023 as Ishikari City's first specialized pediatric dental clinic. Clinic Director Dr. Atsushi Fukuda earned his PhD in Dentistry from the Graduate School of Health Sciences at Health Sciences University of Hokkaido and is a certified specialist and instructor of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry. The clinic's philosophy is "Intergrow" (growing together), supporting children's growth and development through dental care while actively providing parenting support to guardians. Services include pediatric dentistry, pediatric orthodontics, preventive cleaning, and sports mouthguards, offering comprehensive support from cavity prevention to achieving healthy oral function. The clinic is equipped with nitrous oxide anesthesia (inhalation sedation) for children with strong dental anxiety, digital X-rays that reduce radiation exposure to about one-tenth of conventional systems, and Class B sterilizers for rigorous infection control. The waiting area features an entirely carpeted artificial turf kids' space, and guardians may accompany children into treatment rooms, creating a reassuring environment for first-time dental visits.
