Located in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Mizunoe Clinic is an internal medicine specialty clinic that has contributed to local healthcare for many years. Founded in 1979 by the first director, Dr. Akie Mizunoe, it initially offered internal medicine, pediatrics, and dermatology due to the absence of pediatricians in the area, becoming a familiar landmark in Nakagawa Town. Subsequently, Dr. Shinya Otoku took over as the second director, and in 2018, a new wing was added along with a complete renovation of the facility. In 2019, the clinic reopened as a medical corporation. Currently, a pediatric specialist has been appointed as vice director, strengthening the medical care system. Consultation hours are weekdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with closures on Sundays, public holidays, the New Year period, and the Obon season. The facility features a parking lot and barrier-free access, creating an easily accessible environment for wheelchair users and elderly patients. Additionally, credit cards and electronic payments are accepted, and English-language service is available. Through these initiatives, the clinic serves as an accessible healthcare provider for local residents, offering internal medicine care to patients across a wide range of age groups.
