Kurata Clinic, located in Nagatoishi, Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was founded in 1976 by the predecessor and has provided community-based healthcare for many years. Since August 2016, marking the 40th anniversary, the current director has continued the family practice with the philosophy of 'supporting lifelong health from age 0 to 100,' serving as a family physician for local residents. The clinic's practice focuses on internal medicine, catering to patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly, comprehensively addressing family health concerns. It handles common symptoms such as fever, cough, and abdominal pain, as well as childhood-specific illnesses like chickenpox and mumps, offering consultations on pediatric growth and development and child-rearing. Additionally, specialized pediatric services include treatment for nocturnal enuresis, a pediatric allergy clinic, and a pediatric obesity clinic established in June 2024. For adult care, the clinic offers lifestyle disease management and smoking cessation programs, along with various vaccinations, health checkups, and medical certificate preparation. Online consultations are available, and home visits are provided for patients with difficulty visiting the clinic. Hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays (until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and Friday, until 1:00 PM on Saturday); closed on Sundays, holidays, and during New Year's and Obon periods. The clinic features a system using My Number cards for retrieving medical information, with parking and barrier-free access. English assistance is available, creating an environment where diverse patients can receive care with peace of mind.
