Hori Clinic, located on the 2nd floor of the Okabe Building in Wakamatsu-cho, Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, is a medical clinic specializing in psychosomatic medicine, psychiatry, and neurology. Dr. Shiro Hori, the medical director, graduated from Nagoya City University School of Medicine and served as ward physician chief, medical bureau chief, and lecturer at the university hospital before opening the clinic in 2002. He holds credentials as a Designated Physician for Mental Health and a Board-Certified Psychiatrist certified by the Japan Specialist Organization, and practices alongside Vice Director Dr. Tomoyuki Hirota. Consultations include psychotherapy and lifestyle guidance tailored to each condition and individual, focusing on cognitive restructuring and behavioral modification, as well as minimal pharmacotherapy including Kampo (traditional Japanese herbal) medicine.
