Tamu Dental Clinic is located on a street one block east of Alps-dori in Shimoishida, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It was established in October 2013 by Director Akihiko Tamura, who graduated from Tohoku University School of Dentistry and gained experience in community healthcare before opening his own practice. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of dental services including general dentistry, periodontal treatment, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, preventive care and cleaning, orthodontics, ceramic restorations, whitening, dental esthetics, placenta therapy, and sports mouthguards. With the motto of 'building solid communication with each patient,' the clinic emphasizes visually clear explanations using intraoral photographs, X-rays, and video content. The facility features semi-private treatment rooms and a children's play area, creating a welcoming environment for families with young children. English-speaking services are available, making it accessible for patients who may be uncomfortable with Japanese. The clinic provides 13 parking spaces and is barrier-free, accommodating patients arriving by car or those with mobility needs. Operating hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with Saturday morning hours at regular times and afternoon hours until 6:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Thursdays, Sundays, and holidays, though Thursday appointments are available during weeks with holidays, ensuring flexible scheduling for local residents.
