Suzuki Nephrology Clinic is a urology clinic located in Shiibe, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, operated as an artificial dialysis facility with over 40 years of history. The clinic offers vascular access PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty) by VAIVT-certified specialists, enhancing safety by focusing on ultrasound observation without using contrast agents. Through systematic vascular access management, PTA is performed at optimal timing tailored to each case to avoid occlusion. The door-to-door free shuttle service, boasting the largest scale in the prefecture, provides transportation using 1,000cc regular passenger cars, prioritizing patient convenience over efficiency. The clinic focuses on exercise therapy during dialysis (kidney rehabilitation), as well as early detection, prevention, and treatment of lower extremity arterial occlusive disease through lower limb blood flow testing. For infection control, the clinic operates two private rooms equipped with negative pressure exhaust HEPA filter air purification units and has introduced the latest consoles and patient monitoring system FutureNet to accommodate OHDF, i-HDF, and extended dialysis of 6 hours or longer. The clinic works closely with the Department of Nephrology and Emergency Medicine at Yamanashi University, and is also involved in organizing dialysis diet cooking classes and building disaster response systems.
