Kamaya Clinic, located in Kamikita Higashi, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is an internal medicine clinic that opened in September 2022. Director Dr. Hirotoshi Horiuchi brings extensive clinical experience from the Department of Gastroenterology at Jikei Medical University, and after working at hospitals in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Shizuoka, he fulfilled his dream of opening a practice in his hometown of Fujiyoshida. While specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, the clinic provides comprehensive care for a wide range of internal medicine conditions including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, allergic diseases, and asthma, serving as a community primary care physician. The clinic features a distinctive concept of 'harmony between nature and medicine,' with trees and a Japanese garden visible from the waiting room creating a calming atmosphere that eases patient anxiety during visits. Consultations are held Tuesday through Friday in morning and afternoon sessions, with Saturday mornings only, serving patients from junior high school age and above. New patients can book appointments online, and the clinic actively participates in healthcare DX initiatives including online identity verification and use of the My Number health insurance card.
