Located on the second floor of Fuji Hokuroku General Medical Center in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Fuji Tobu Pediatric Emergency Medical Center was established in 2008 as a pediatric emergency care hub for the Fuji Tobu region. The center operates on weekdays from 8 PM to midnight, on Saturdays from 3 PM, and on Sundays, holidays, and year-end periods from 9 AM to midnight, providing care for sudden fevers and health changes during nighttime and holidays when regular clinics are unavailable. The center handles mild cases, while severe cases requiring hospitalization are referred to three affiliated hospitals in the region, including Fujiyoshida City Hospital. Note that surgical conditions such as head injuries, burns, and fractures are not treated here, so telephone confirmation before visiting is recommended. Prescriptions are limited to one day as emergency care, with follow-up visits to regular physicians advised thereafter. English assistance is available, and the facility offers parking and barrier-free access for patient convenience.
