Located in Chuo City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Kobayashi Children's Clinic is a pediatric specialist medical facility that opened in November 2015. Equipped with English-speaking staff and a parking lot, it provides medical care for children ranging from newborns to junior high school students. The clinic is closed on Thursdays and Sundays/holidays, with 14:00-15:00 designated for vaccinations and health check-ups, while general consultations are available at other times. Patients with suspected infectious symptoms will be seen after 15:00. Aside from vaccinations and health check-ups, the clinic operates without a reservation system, striving to examine unwell patients without wait times. The clinic offers over 12 types of vaccines including BCG, DTaP-IPV/Hib, and Hib, with visits during the 14:00-15:00 slot recommended especially for infants. While there are no dedicated specialty clinics, patients can be seen anytime during reception hours, but since consultations take time, patients must arrive at least 30 minutes before reception closes. The director, with experience at the Department of Pediatrics at Yamanashi University School of Medicine and Yamanashi University Hospital, is a specialist of the Japan Endocrine Society and Japan Diabetes Society. In addition to endocrine and metabolic care for short stature, thyroid disorders, gonadal disorders, and diabetes, the clinic provides general pediatrics, pediatric emergency care, infectious disease treatment, and allergy care. Tests that cannot be performed at the clinic are referred to other medical facilities, ensuring comprehensive testing.
