Honjo Clinic, located in Mayagacho, Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a medical facility specializing in imaging diagnostics and screenings by certified specialists of the Japan Radiological Society. In 2024, the clinic updated its MRI and PET-CT to the latest models, introducing Canon's digital PET-CT, the first of its kind in the prefecture. This equipment is the latest version of the same model used at Hiroshima University Hospital, featuring AI image processing technology and an 80-slice CT. It provides high-definition images and enhanced comfort, supporting not only cancer and inflammation diagnosis but also early detection of Alzheimer's disease through amyloid PET. Infection control measures include a negative-pressure outpatient area with controlled airflow and exhaust. Transnasal endoscopy was upgraded to high-definition specification in 2024. Clinical services include general outpatient care, comprehensive imaging (PET, MRI, CT), cancer screenings, health checkups, and secondary detailed examinations. Organ-specific screening courses are available, including brain, lung, hepatobiliary pancreatic, breast, and cardiac screenings. The medical staff comprises 13 doctors: 6 certified specialists from the Japan Radiological Society and 7 from the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology. When treatment is necessary, appropriate specialized medical facilities are referred. English support is available, along with parking and barrier-free accessibility.
