Located in Omachi, Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Koseki Nephrology & Urology Koseki Pediatrics is a clinic serving the community with a focus on nephrology, urology, and pediatrics. After graduating from Yamagata University School of Medicine, the director gained extensive clinical experience in the Department of Nephrology and Urology at the university's affiliated hospital, pursued specialized training through overseas study, and opened the clinic in 2005. The medical services cover a wide range, from general urological conditions and PSA testing effective for early detection of prostate cancer, to treatment of renal dysfunction, urinary tract stones, and incontinence, as well as pediatric care. A feature of the clinic is the coordination with nearby medical institutions and the aim to provide comprehensive services including specialized examinations and surgeries based on referrals. English-speaking medical consultation is available, and appointment-based scheduling reduces waiting times. The facility is equipped with a parking lot and is barrier-free, making it accessible for elderly patients and those with mobility challenges. The clinic is closed on Sundays, the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Wednesdays of each month, as well as national holidays, Golden Week, Obon, and year-end and New Year holidays (December 30 to January 3).
