Located in Haguro-cho, Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, Honma Dental Clinic has served the local community for over 15 years since opening in August 2009. Director Osamu Honma is a board-certified prosthodontist by the Japan Prosthodontic Society and holds a Doctor of Dental Science degree. He gained clinical experience at Niigata University Medical and Dental Hospital, the Department of Oral Surgery at Aizu Central Hospital, and Ohu University School of Dentistry. Prosthodontics is the specialty of restoring lost teeth and oral function using dentures, crowns, and other prostheses. Dr. Honma has received high academic recognition, including the Encouragement Award from the Japanese Academy of Orofacial Functions and the Competition Excellence Award from the Japan Prosthodontic Society. Vice Director Chizuru Honma is also a dentist with experience at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Niigata University Medical and Dental Hospital.
