Located in Hanyu Higashi in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, Sakuranbo Clinic is a community-based clinic approximately 9 minutes by car from O-u Main Line's Jinmachi Station. Dr. Masatoshi Hashimoto, the clinic director, specializes in orthopedics, but has been involved in emergency medicine and rural medicine since his residency days. After gaining experience in home medical care in the Kitamurayama region, he opened this clinic. The clinic offers a wide range of departments including internal medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and home medical care, aiming to be a family doctor where patients can feel comfortable saying "let's consult first." With the relocation, a CT scanner and rehabilitation room were newly established to enhance the diagnostic and treatment environment. Clinic hours are weekday mornings (9:00-12:00) and afternoons (15:00-18:00), Saturday mornings (9:00-13:00), with Thursday, Sunday, and holidays closed. The clinic has 14 parking spaces and is barrier-free, making it easily accessible for those coming by car or with physical disabilities. English language support is also available, which is one of the clinic's features as it welcomes patients from diverse backgrounds.
