Nagi Midwifery Clinic is located in Iwade City, northern Wakayama Prefecture, in a tranquil setting along the Kinokawa River, approximately 30 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport. The clinic is led by Director Rikuko Sano, a certified midwife who provides support not only for prenatal and postnatal care but also across a wide range of women's life stages, from fetal development through the senior years. Services offered are extensive and include childbirth (inpatient and home visit), postpartum hospitalization, pelvic care, osteopathic manipulation/chiropractic/osteopathy, breastfeeding support, breast care, prenatal check-ups, postnatal home visits, and community postnatal care programs (overnight, day-visit, and home-visit), covering every aspect of the perinatal period. One of the clinic's distinguishing features is its pelvic care program rooted in traditional wisdom, providing continuous support from pregnancy to help women prepare their bodies for easier childbirth. The clinic also actively offers home and outreach services to the Ito region, including Katsuragi Town and Hashimoto City, functioning as a deeply community-rooted midwifery clinic. Appointments are required, and English-language consultations are available.
