Shirasagidai Clinic Yamauchi ENT is an otolaryngology clinic located in Shirasagidai, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, which opened in October 2015. Director Dr. Kazuma Yamauchi holds a medical doctorate and graduated from Wakayama Medical University, gaining experience at its affiliated hospital and multiple general hospitals, as well as a study abroad stint at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He is a certified specialist, training supervisor, and noise-induced hearing loss physician recognized by the Japan Otorhinolaryngological Society. The clinic provides general care for ears, nose, and throat, and treats a wide range of conditions including hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, allergic rhinitis, hay fever, sinusitis, tonsillitis, snoring, sleep apnea syndrome, and thyroid disorders. Diagnostic services include rapid testing for influenza and COVID-19, fingertip blood-draw allergy testing, transnasal endoscopy, and ultrasound (echo) examination for thyroid and neck conditions. Sublingual immunotherapy is also available for cedar pollen allergy and dust mite-related allergic rhinitis, offering treatment aimed at fundamental improvement of the patient's constitution. Weekday morning hours are 9:00–12:00, with afternoon hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 16:00–18:30. Saturday reception runs until 12:30 (morning only), and the clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays. English-language consultations are available and parking is provided on-site. Referrals to nearby or higher-level medical institutions are made as needed, making this a community-rooted ENT practice.
