Akasaki Clinic (Iryohojin Shadon Akasaki Shinryojo) is a long-established internal medicine clinic located in Kotonura-cho, Tohaku-gun, Tottori Prefecture. Originally founded as a municipal clinic in 1957, it was incorporated as a medical corporation in 2006 and underwent major renovations in 2015, having supported regional healthcare for many years. The clinic operates from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the morning and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon, with its notably early morning hours being one of its distinguishing features. The clinic is closed on Sundays, public holidays, and during the year-end/New Year and Obon periods. In addition to in-person consultations, the clinic offers online medical consultations via an app called "curon," making it possible to receive a physician's examination even when visiting in person is difficult. A pre-consultation system using LINE has also been introduced, allowing patients to submit information such as symptoms and blood pressure readings before their visit to help reduce waiting times. The facility is equipped with a parking lot and is fully wheelchair accessible, creating a comfortable environment for a wide range of patients. English-language support is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments, offering a variety of payment options. Under the leadership of Director Tetsuya Aoki, the clinic continues to provide community-rooted medical care.
