Heiwa Eye Clinic is an ophthalmology clinic located in Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo. Given that vision develops rapidly from around 6 weeks after birth, peaks at about 1.5 years old, and completes around 8 years old, they recommend early consultation for children's eye problems. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays, the clinic operates with a two-doctor system led by the director and deputy director, and English services are available. First visits require scheduling by phone in advance, with specific appointment times; walk-in visits are accepted between 8:30-10:00 AM and 2:30-4:00 PM. Please note that first visits are not available on Saturdays. For follow-up visits, both appointment and walk-in systems are available; appointments can be made online or by phone, while walk-in visits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis during specified morning and afternoon time slots. Online follow-up appointments can be made up to two months in advance starting from midnight on the 1st of each month, and appointments within one week of the visit date cannot be made online. The facility is barrier-free, and visitors are requested to wear masks and have their temperature taken for infection prevention. Payment is cash only, and there is a 100 yen fee for issuing new patient cards. Reception using My Number Cards is also supported, and medications are prescribed by generic name in principle.
