Located in Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Oki Eye Clinic has been providing specialized ophthalmological care since its establishment in 1914. With a history dating back to 1956 when services began at the current Ikebukuro location, the clinic contributed to innovations in cataract surgery in the 1970s by introducing phacoemulsification. Office hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays, national holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays. Saturday appointments are by reservation, while visits on other days do not require appointments. Surgeries and certain examinations require advance booking, and reception may close earlier depending on patient conditions. Eyeglass and contact lens reception ends one hour before closing, and dilated eye examinations must be completed 30 minutes before. Board-certified ophthalmologists by the Japan Ophthalmological Society are available for diagnosis on all days. Credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments are accepted. Parking is available, barrier-free facilities are provided, and English-speaking staff are available.
