Aoi Dental Clinic is a dental clinic located in Negishi, Taito-ku, Tokyo. Dr. Izumi Muramatsu, DDS, PhD, serves as the clinic director. After graduating from Nihon University School of Dentistry and completing the graduate program there, she studied abroad at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Implant Dentistry Special Care, served as a Research Fellow in the Cariology Department at Lund University, and studied Social Sciences at the University of Munich. She also served as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Tokyo Women's Medical University. At this clinic, while providing necessary treatments, they believe that preventing disease from occurring in the first place is most important. Viewing oral health as the gateway to overall health, they recommend check-ups as soon as a baby's teeth begin to emerge, with the goal of raising children who never need treatment. They encourage families to start visiting together. The clinic supports multiple languages including English, and accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Closed days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and summer holidays.
