Shiratama Dermatology Clinic is a dermatology and pediatric dermatology specialty clinic located on the first floor of LaLaport Tachikawa Tachihi, directly connected to Tachihi Station on the Tama Monorail Line. Director Dr. Shinya Kunimine is affiliated with the Dermatology Department of Juntendo University Hospital, where he has managed specialty outpatient clinics for atopic dermatitis and psoriasis vulgaris, including the introduction of biologic therapies. Through his tenure as a ward chief at a hospital and his work at the graduate school and Atopy Center, he has been engaged in dermatological care from both clinical and research perspectives. He has examined over 20,000 patients annually, ranging from acne treatment to pediatric and geriatric dermatology. Even after opening his own practice, he continues to serve as a non-tenured assistant professor at a university hospital, with a commitment to providing evidence-based medical care covered by insurance. The clinic is open on weekdays (except Monday and Friday mornings) as well as weekends and holidays, with a first-come-first-served system in place on weekends and holidays due to high demand. Since April 2026, a female physician has been added to the staff, enabling the clinic to accommodate more patients.
