Located a 7-minute walk from Odaibashi Station in Suginami Ward, Morimoto Clinic provides internal medicine services, with a particular focus on endoscopic examinations effective for early detection of stomach and colorectal cancers, as well as day surgery for hemorrhoids. The clinic operates on the philosophy of minimizing pain and discomfort for examinations, treatments, and surgeries. Day surgeries are performed using spinal anesthesia or general anesthesia. With spinal anesthesia, saddle block—a type of analgesic anesthesia for the anus and surrounding area using ultra-fine needles—allows patients to walk after surgery. With general anesthesia, patients recover quickly from anesthesia and can eat by lunchtime. Day surgeries are conducted every Thursday, and pediatric examinations by board-certified pediatricians are provided twice a month (on Thursdays). The clinic has parking and is fully barrier-free. Services are available in English. The clinic is closed on Sundays and holidays. For infection prevention, patients must call before visiting.
